Furniture Design Consultation - Complimentary
Furniture consultations are most productive when clients meet with us at our studio. During this consultation we will explore the scope of your custom furniture project by discussing your vision, offering guidance in the design of your project, reviewing material and finish selections, as well as addressing budget needs and project timeline. If you're interested in learning more about what we do and our creative process, we would be happy to give you a brief tour of our studio during our time together. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for working with the Beyond Stock team to see if we are a good fit for your project. To get started, visit our contact page and tell us about your vision! Furniture design consultations at our studio are complimentary and by appointment only. If an in-space consultation is necessary or requested, a $250 consultation fee will apply. 

Custom 3D Rendering Services
+ We offer 3D visual rendering services for every custom furniture piece we build. We use SketchUp to render the furniture piece to scale showing exact dimensions as a way to demonstrate what the piece will look like upon completion and to confirm every last detail prior to the start of a project.
​+ We also use SketchUp to render some of our specialized cabinetry pieces in more explicit detail, such as our vanities and range hoods, allowing our clients to verify every measurement and construction detail of their piece to ensure compliance with sinks, appliances, etc.

For Custom Cabinetry Projects: 
+ We offer 3D visual rendering services for cabinetry projects (anything from built-ins to kitchens) using Chief Architect.
​+ First, our design team will come to your home or project site to measure the area with laser technology, creating a digital floor plan of the existing area. We will then input that floor plan and any applicable modifications into Chief Architect to create a cabinetry layout that works well for your space, accommodating any area considerations or preferences. 
​+ We will then assist you with finish selections if desired, from colors to countertops, fixtures, and everything in between. Once all selections have been made, we will then input those selections into Chief Architect to show you, utilizing 3D ray trace technology, how your space will look once it is complete. You will be able to modify your custom design at any time until you are 100% satisfied. 
+ We will then create all-encompassing shop/field plans that include scaled floor plans and elevations with detailed measurements, important notes annotating construction details as well as included accessories, and multiple 3D views to assist in the accurate production and successful installation of your cabinetry.

​Custom Cabinetry Consultation & Design Services
Our custom cabinetry design encompasses kitchens, bathrooms, custom closet & storage solutions, as well as small- and large-scale millwork. A member of our design team will meet with you in your space for a 2 hour design consultation to discuss the scope of your project, address your design needs, and take measurements of the space. We will then create a design that reflects your spatial needs and style preferences. Door, moulding, and finish selections will be provided for consideration and confirmed before the construction phase begins. Cabinetry consultations are by appointment only.

*Rates:
2-hr onsite cabinetry/space planning consultation - $250 (payment due at meeting)
Interior design consultation, virtual or in-person - $100 per hour
Site-based project management and consultation - $100 per hour
Computerized drafting and visual 3D rendering services - $1,000 retainer (payment due at contract signing), $125 per hour ongoing
*Rates may vary depending on size and scale of project. Drafting retainer is not applicable to rendering of furniture pieces - furniture is rendered at $125 per hour rate and is included in the cost of the project. 
*Revisions to design are subject to additional fees.

Our custom cabinetry is designed and crafted by hand with you in mind. Here are some of the features that define our commitment to heirloom craftsmanship:
​
+ Multi-ply birch core plywood cabinetry boxes with pre-finished maple veneer interiors bake-cured for high durability (All our plywood is made and sourced in USA or Canada)
+ 3/4" cabinet sides, 1/2" top stringers, bottoms, and backs
+ All corners of finished sides are miter locked for a seamless presentation
+ Standard thickness for face frames is 3/4"
+ Standard thickness for doors is 3/4"
+ Doors are crafted with solid maple stiles and rails with MDF panel for painted cabinetry only. MDF does not expand and contract with seasonal wood movement, so it is used to minimize cracking in the joints for painted doors. 
+ All sink cabinets are lined with AlumaSteel for an added layer of protection against pipe leaks and easy cleaning
+ Trash pull-outs and spice pull-outs are lined with AlumaSteel for easy cleaning
+ 5/8" dovetail solid maple drawer boxes, pre-finished
+ All hardware is undermount, full extension, and soft close (we use Blum brand for slides and hinges)
+ Wide range of custom door panels and mouldings are available
+ Roll-outs and interior accessories are available 
+ Custom cabinet lighting options are available
+ Custom integrated technology options are available 
+ Spray-applied VOC compliant conversion varnish top coats and painted finishes (all finishes are applied in our facility, not on-site)

Private Labeling
If you are an interior designer, kitchen designer, or cabinetry dealer, we would be happy to private label your custom cabinetry for you! We have the ability to laser engrave your logo inside one or every drawer box in your cabinetry project. Simply provide us with your business card or a digital file of your logo and we can take care of the rest! 

Rates:
$100 one-time setup fee
$4.50 per drawer box 

Color Matching Services & Custom Finishes
At Beyond Stock, we have the unique ability to offer our clients color matching services. We can match the existing finish, stained or painted, on a cabinet or furniture piece that you have already grown to love in your home. Maybe you would love a new furniture piece to compliment an existing one, or need a replacement cabinet door that will fit in with all the rest. We have you covered! 

We also offer unique aged finish options, such as wet glazes, Antik Tinktur dry glazes, and distressing packages.

Rates: 
Color matching for stained finishes - $200 per color match
Color matching for existing painted finishes - $300 per color match
Color matching for multi-step finishes - $425 per color match
Wet glaze - add 10%
Antik Tinktur dry glaze - add 30%
​Metallic finishes - add 40%
*Distressing package - add 10-15% 
*Distressing package rates may vary depending on size and scale of project.

Geometric Furniture Tops & Cabinetry Panels
Are you looking for that unique, timeless detail to take your furniture or cabinetry piece to the next level? We have the ability to add some pizazz to your furniture or cabinetry project with the inclusion of geometric patterns. We offer geometric table tops as well as geometric back panels for cabinetry in any hardwood you choose. 

Starting Rates:
Shiplap - $30 per square foot

Herringbone - $50 per square foot
Double herringbone - $55 per square foot
Diagonal herringbone - $65 per square foot

Above & Beyond...
We love collaborating with local artisans and specialized businesses to offer our designers and clients a spectrum of custom components and details, elevating the uniqueness and overall design of their furniture or cabinetry project. We will coordinate these custom details for our designers and clients as an integrated service. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Provide us with a design or idea. We will present various design options and samples for your consideration based on what our collaborating artisans and specialized businesses offer. We will guide you through the decision-making process so that you are comfortable with your final selections. 
Step 2: Once the design has been finalized, we will take it from there! We will coordinate all aspects of your project to ensure the final product, and the incorporation of those special details, is exactly how you envisioned it to be.
